In the Palm of His hand!

We have been traveling many roads and still we do not have any shoulder.  So I have been reading, studying, copying the book of John in my note path and I have been pondering on the things that are written in Scripture.

I came to the understanding that since our first journey, God has always taken care of us in all areas.  Health, financial, spiritual; we have lack nothing.  And as you have been able to travel with us on this, our third journey.  You have tasted some of the wonderful things God has done in our lives and the lives of the people, He has brought our way.

This trip has been been filled with new friendships and marvelous loving people. Yes, we had our times of discouragement, because of our first RV and the mechanical problems, however, God has never let us down.  He has provided for our every need.

This past week we had to put a new generator in the RV and that cost a lot of money (over 5K) because it is a brand new piece of equipment, shipping, labor and taxes.  We had to use our credit card to pay for it and I have been wondering how we are going to complete this journey.  God has said in His word for us to not get into debt but there was no way we could get that amount of money without using the credit card.

I do believe He is going to help us to pay off the credit card and we will complete this journey, the same way we finished the other two.... with His provision and His help. I know that Scripture tells us not to be in debt, however, this was beyond our control especially because it is very hot and humid. I believe what the Bible says, because God has proven Himself faithful to His Word in our lives and I know that He is going to do it once again, because He is good. The best part of it all is that He does not have favorites. If He is doing it for us, He will do it for you too.  Trust in HIM!

I stand on His promises:  Mt 6:25-34
25"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
